Let's talk about mice. Disgusting, deceivingly cute, disease-stricken vermin. Now, don't you hate it when they chew through your ridiculously-priced twenty dollar work gloves? Sigh. What can you do, other than get a cat? If you aren't fond of cats, like myself and Katniss Everdeen, they're just another thing that you have to put up with. So, a piece of advice if mice are chewing through your work gloves: keep them indoors where no mice are. It's common sense, really, so I don't know why I still keep mine in the garage...

Hello, my readers! It is currently a scalding hot Sunday afternoon; the Sun is in optimum position and it is already the surface of Mercury at an unforgiving 83 degrees. I've always wondered why it is on these days that people choose to mow their lawns, and then don't put sunscreen on. Ah, well...get in the spirit of an early summer! There's nothing better than sweating your face off and frying your skin for the sake of a nicely manicured lawn.
